Susan Adelizzi-Schmidt Promoted to Senior Account Manager at Smith O’Keefe & Associates
Egg Harbor Township, NJ, July 5, 2006 -- Susan Adelizzi-Schmidt has been promoted to senior account manager at Smith O’Keefe & Associates.
In her new position, Adelizzi-Schmidt supervises major accounts for the firm. She is responsible for overseeing strategic brand development, integrated marketing, e-commerce, media programs, budgets and ROI.
Adelizzi-Schmidt recently completed her MBA degree at the Richard Stockton State College of New Jersey in Pomona. She was awarded a Graduate Assistantship from the college during her final semester of study. Adelizzi-Schmidt earned a dual BA degree in Communications and English from Arcadia University, Glenside, PA.
Prior to joining Smith O’Keefe and Associates, Adelizzi-Schmidt served as Marketing Director for Great American Trolley Company, a leading regional transportation firm, where she was responsible for developing the company’s wedding, convention and tour divisions. She also founded Transervice, a full-service transportation management company. Prior to joining Great American Trolley Company, she was public relations manager for Showboat Casino & Hotel.
Adelizzi-Schmidt is a professional trainer for The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey's Professional Development and Continuing Education program. She has also served as a consultant with the Atlantic/Cape/Cumberland Small Business Development Center.
She actively serves on the board of directors for the Absecon Lighthouse, the Greater Atlantic City Region Tourism Council, the Country Shore Women’s Club and is an appointed member of the Atlantic County Tourism Advisory Board.
Adelizzi-Schmidt received the prestigious Governor’s Tourism Partnership Award for launching the Atlantic City Trolley Tours. Her work has also been honored with awards from The Greater Atlantic City Region Tourism Council and the Atlantic City Convention & Visitor’s Authority. She is also an Atlantic City Weekly 2005 Top 40 under 40 honoree.
A native of Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, Adelizzi-Schmidt currently resides in Seaville with her husband and two children.
